I did a thing.

So today I cruised through Big Lots, and found some good deals. This was a little dangerous though, as I had just been to Dollar Tree as well. Meh. I'll claim the school stuff on my taxes later or something.

 I found this, and while I'm not usually into the "live, laugh, love" type stuff, I liked this one, especially to use in my classroom.

Since, it's me though, I decided to make it a little bit extra. Cue craft time!



First, I used the metallic markers to give it some pops of color. I wish the silver around "believe" was a little brighter, but, well, it isn't. The "self adhesive ribbon" was a lie. Maybe it was once, but it is no longer. I busted out some of my old scrapbooking adhesive and went to town.

 Finally, I had this little gem hanging around waiting to be sewn onto the butt of my jeans, but since she's self adhesive (for real) I decided she needed to be on here.

 I can't wait to hang this bad boy at school this week!
